Job Summary

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Seasonal Game Farm Worker to assist with the day-to-day operations of our game farm during the busy rearing season. This is a hands-on role involving the care and management of game birds, maintenance of farm facilities, and

support of the wider farm team.

Key Responsibilities

• Feeding and watering game birds.

• Monitoring bird health and welfare and reporting any concerns.

• Assisting with egg collection, incubation, hatching, and chick rearing.

• Cleaning and maintaining pens, sheds, feeders, and drinkers.

• Erecting, repairing, and maintaining fencing and netting.

• Assisting with bird transfers and release preparations.

• Maintaining high biosecurity standards across all farm areas.

• Recording stock numbers, feed usage, and welfare observations.

• Operating farm equipment and vehicles safely where authorised.

• Carrying out general farm maintenance and husbandry duties.

Requirements

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

• Good level of physical fitness.

• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Reliable and punctual.

• Full UK driving licence preferred.

• Previous farming, poultry, gamekeeping, or livestock experience beneficial but not essential.
