seasonal Ghillie - Ref 1850 Date: June 26, 2026

Ardtornish Estate is seeking a seasonal Ghillie for the forthcoming stag and hind stalking season.
Working through from the start of September to the end of February, the successful candidate will assist the head stalker on his stag and hind cull on the 26,000-acre estate.
The successful candidate should be self-motivated, practical and have a good attitude to work within a small team and at times, on their own. This is a great opportunity to develop hill and woodland stalking experience with red and roe deer present.
Duties will include, but are not limited to
- Carcass recovery with Argo
-Larder work
- General Estate maintenance
- Predator and goose control
A driving license is essential for this role
Relevant certification/qualifications including Argo and FAC are desirable. Training is available to the right candidate to develop any key areas of certification and conservation monitoring skills.
Salary will be dependent on experience
