Lead Shepherd/Stock person Opportunity - Ref 1898 Date: August 25, 2026

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead Shepherd / Stockperson to join a progressive mixed farming business. The successful applicant will play a leading role in the management of 1,200 self-replacing Lleyn ewes and 140 spring-calving suckler cows, taking responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the livestock enterprises while working closely with the wider farm team.

We are seeking an individual with excellent stockmanship, strong organisational skills and a genuine passion for livestock farming.

Good working sheepdogs are essential. The role would suit either an experienced stockperson looking for greater responsibility or a capable and ambitious candidate keen to further develop their career within a modern and progressive farming business.
