Housekeeping/General Estate Maintenance
Seasonal Position- minimum of 6 months considered
Ideal Start Date- asap
Islay Estates Company are looking to recruit two enthusiastic and hard-working people to join our team to provide housekeeping changeovers for 5 self catering properties. You would also be providing daily housekeeping and dinner service in an 8-bedroom family home when the family are in residence.
Duties will include, but not be limited to, the following:
Preparing Estate properties in advance of guests’ arrival and carrying out changeovers upon their departure
Daily housekeeping, breakfast, lunch, and dinner service in Estate properties as required when in residence
Running errands for guests/family
Preparation of vacant properties prior to staff/tenants moving in
General maintenance in Estate properties
Cutting grass, painting outdoor furniture, and assisting in the garden as required
Working in the local shop – serving customers, distributing deliveries
Previous housekeeping and dinner service experience would be advantageous, however full training for this role will also be given.
Both applicants should have a full manual driving license as this is necessary for carrying out shopping/running additional errands as required.
