Couple wanted for a small estate near Sevenoaks in Kent (Housekeeping/Gardening/ Household Maintenance)

The position has become available as our New Zealand couple of 13 years is retiring. We are looking for a couple who love dogs and have a ‘can do’ attitude. The family comprises a couple who split their time between Kent, London and a home overseas; plus four adult children who come home from time to time. And three dogs. The property is made up of the main seven bedroom house; a five bedroom barn (holiday let); two cottages on long lets; plus a two bedroom cottage for the couple.

The roles include: Housekeeping/cleaning the main house Laundry - washing, ironing and small mending jobs Holiday let clean and bed making (laundry sent out) Gardening for the main house and holiday let barn - detailed technical knowledge not necessary Mowing, hedge trimming, planting and pruning Maintenance of garden equipment - booking in for service as necessary Maintenance and repairs as necessary in all properties and being on call for tenants when issues arise Swimming Pool maintenance in the Summer Occasional driving - airports and stations primarily Looking after vehicles and booking in MOT/service appointments Occasional trips to London for maintenance/clean at London property. Occasional help with entertaining Housesitting and being responsible for the properties and dogs while the owners are away. Dog care - attending vet and grooming appointments as necessary Proactively calling out trades people as required.

Salary according to experience. Option of four or five day weeks. Monday to Friday Some weekend work needed to look after dogs while owners are away. Two bedroom cottage and car provided. All household bills and Wifi taken care of Start Date end of September/early October
