Role & Responsibilities

An amazing opportunity to join the team at Badanloch Estate, set in the stunning Scottish Highlands.

This is a unique position for a dedicated and handson individual to manage The Lodge and an additional holiday cottage. The Housekeeper will oversee the daytoday running of the Lodge, ensuring exceptional presentation, guest experience, housekeeping, cooking and the smooth operation of all hospitality services, particularly during the sporting season.

During the quieter winter months, the role will include a range of offseason duties such as deep cleaning, maintenance, and supporting preparation for the year ahead.

For applicants who have a partner, there isopportunities for parttime or seasonal employment within the wider estate team, depending on skills and experience. This would include groundwork, maintenance work and underkeeper roles.

Key Skills & Experience

Essential

• Previous experience in housekeeping, hospitality management, or highstandard private household work. • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. • Ability to work well with a wider estate team. • Strong communication and guestfacing abilities. • Flexible and handson approach, especially during busy periods.

Desirable

• Previous experience in a rural estate and expectations of sporting guests. • Food hygiene certification / understanding of catering standards. • First aid and fire safety training.
