Holiday Cottage & Estate Operations Manager Couple Required – Mallaig
We are seeking an exceptional couple to join our small team at Loch Nevis for 2026 and potentially longer-term
The Roles:
Holiday Cottage Manager & Housekeeper – overseeing and undertaking weekly changeovers on 3 self-catering holiday cottages through May-October letting period and the main lodge when occupied. Managing the laundry from the main house and cottages (using the dedicated fully equipped laundry house) and undertaking a rolling programme of cleaning in the main house. The role is also responsible for updating social media pages, responding to letting queries from guests booking through the booking agency, helping look after the kitchen garden on the Estate and provisioning the main house and cottages as required. You’ll work closely with guests to create memorable holiday experiences while helping the team to maintain the estate to the highest standards.
Estate Operations Manager – working with the estate manager to oversee and undertake repair and maintenance projects to estate properties and other infrastructure including water and off-grid power systems etc, gardening and ground maintenance, boat and equipment repairs, assisting with farming activities on the small-holding and other work around the estate. We are looking for a diligent and enthusiastic individual to take responsibility for managing day-to-day operations and routine maintenance.
