General Farm & Estate Worker – Dunsinnan Farm & Estate, Perthshire

Location: Perthshire – Perth 8 miles, Dundee 14 miles
Salary: Competitive, experience dependant

Dunsinnan Farm & Estate is seeking an experienced Senior Farm & Estate Worker to support the day-to-day running of the farm and wider estate operations.

The Estate operates a diversified and sustainable land management system, with forestry and livestock farming forming key parts of the estate management plan alongside arable, renewable energy and tourism enterprises.

This is a varied and practical role suited to someone with strong tractor and machinery skills, good practical ability and an interest in both forestry and farming operations.

Duties will include woodland and forestry work such as planting, maintenance and supporting harvesting operations, operating tractors and machinery for grassland and cultivation work, machinery maintenance, fencing and general estate maintenance, livestock work with beef cattle where required, and assisting with wider estate activities including the operation of biomass boilers.

The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining high standards across the estate’s land management operations. The position offers long-term prospects within a diversified estate business, with opportunities to develop skills and responsibility and potential for career progression within the business.

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience operating tractors and agricultural machinery• Strong practical knowledge of grassland and general farm operations• Telehandler licence• Chainsaw certification• Mechanical aptitude and machinery maintenance skills• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for tasks• Full UK driving licence
