General Estate Worker – Abergeldie Estate, Deeside

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Estate Worker to support the maintenance and smooth running of the estate. The successful candidate will carry out a variety of outdoor and property-related tasks including gardening, landscaping, forestry work, fence removal, drainage, digger operations, and basic property repairs. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys varied work, practical problem-solving, and working outdoors in all seasons.

Key Responsibilities:

· Grounds maintenance using strimmers, mowers, and other machinery.

· Support forestry and land management, including drainage and deer/larder work.

· Operate diggers and maintain tools/equipment (training provided).

· Assist with property repairs under supervision.

· Follow health & safety procedures and maintain tidy work areas.

· Carry out general estate tasks including airport runs and community representation.

Requirements

Essential:

· Practical experience in Estate, grounds, garden, and property maintenance.

· Ability to use machinery and tools safely.

· Willingness to undertake physical, outdoor work in all weather conditions.

· Ability to prioritise and to organise jobs and task

· Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Desirable:

· Experience with strimmers, diggers, and forestry work.

· Basic knowledge land management.

· Full driving licence.

· Previous experience in a similar estate, farm, or grounds role.
