Full-time Estate Operative & Part-time Housekeeper | 4-Bedroom House Available | Long-Term Role

A rare and exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and practical couple to join a privately owned estate in Royal Deeside. The estate covers 7,500 acres and includes agricultural, forestry, commercial and development interests as well as luxury holiday accommodation.

This role is suited to those who take pride in their work, are trustworthy and versatile, and are looking to put down long-term roots in the countryside.

The Roles

We are seeking a hands-on Estate Operative to oversee general estate and garden maintenance, as well as machinery upkeep and light forestry work. The role will also include seasonal work such as firewood preparation, leaf removal and snow clearing. The successful candidate will also be required to assist with holiday cottage maintenance, changeovers and occasional driving duties as required.

The Housekeeper will care for both the main private residence and a luxury holiday let. This will include domestic housekeeping, laundry and upkeep of the family home along with full responsibility for cleaning and presentation of holiday accommodation. There may be the opportunity to become involved in the development of holiday let properties including guest liaison and bookings, for the right candidate.

Accommodation is provided in an attractive 4-bedroom house on the estate. A competitive renumeration package will be agreed based on experience, including pension (5% employer contribution), healthcare cash plan, and use of estate vehicle. Valid driving licences are essential. All applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
