Country Estate Worker - Woodbridge

We are recruiting on behalf of our client who is looking for an Estate worker with agricultural experience to carry out a varied and autonomous outdoor role. This position is ideally suited to somebody with a passion for the countryside to undertake general estate maintenance as well as some farm work and qualified in chainsaw maintenance & cross cutting .

This is a full time position, 42 hours per week, Monday - Friday with additional time by agreement.

Role to include:-

· Hedge cutting, grass cutting, strimming

· Field work (ploughing, harrowing, topping etc)

· Footpath/track maintenance, fencing repairs, tree clearance and woodland work including chainsaw work

· Basic property management including vermin control

· Preparation and delivery of firewood and woodchip.

We are hoping that there will be a week's handover with the outgoing Estate worker to ensure the successful applicant will be familiar with all aspects of this role, but full training will be provided.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £26,500.00 per year

· Woodbridge: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

· agricultural: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

· Pesticides (PA1) certificate (preferred)

· Pest Management (Level 2) (preferred)

· Chainsaw Maintenance & Cross-cutting (preferred)
