Beat Keeper
We are seeking an experienced beat keeper for our Home Beat. The beat is managed for both driven and walked up grouse shooting and red and roe deer stalking with a small amount of rough shooting in addition.
Reporting to the Head Keeper, the individual we are looking for will be professional, reliable, flexible and willing and able to work both on their own initiative and as part of a team. They will be proficient in trapping, muirburn, fox control and stalking and from time to time take guests river and loch fishing and undertake occasional work with stalking ponies. The individual will also assist with sheep management as part of a tick control strategy. They will be self-motivated, conscientious and committed to sustainable moorland management.
Applicants for the position must be able to demonstrate expertise and competence and possess a driving licence, firearms and shotgun certificates.
