Administrative Assistant, for multiple operations within the Rural Sector
Location: Hauxwell
Salary: Competitive depending on experience
Hours: Mon – Friday 10-3pm

Dalton Farms is a diverse rural estate comprising of many diversification schemes, including Residential, Agricultural, Sporting & Commercial interests. The Estate is committed to balancing Conservation & Agriculture and is at the forefront of the current Environmental & sustainable Farming initiative.
We are now seeking an organised & personable Administrative Assistant to join our small, dedicated estate office team.
The Role:
The Administrative Assistant will provide essential support to the Estate manager and wider team, ensuring the smooth day to day running of the Estate & Forestry operations.
Duties will include:
• Managing correspondence, phone calls & emails• Maintaining accurate records, databases and filling systems (both digital & paper based)• Assisting with properties, maintaining records of utilities, liaising with contractors and diarising statutory obligations.• liaising with suppliers & customers in a professional & courteous manner.
About You:
We are looking for someone who is:
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.• Confident in handling confidential and varied information• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) • A strong communicator both written & verbal• Able to work independently and as part of a small close-knit team.• Interested in rural affairs, land management & conservation (experience in these areas is advantageous but not essential.
