Additional experienced Underkeeper required
The position offers an excellent opportunity for an Underkeeper to work their own beat on the wonderful mixed sporting Soval Estate on the Isle of Lewis.
It would involve looking after guests, walked up grouse shooting over pointers on 60,000 acres and extensive hill stalking, together with salmon fishing on the whole of the Laxay River system, along with flighting and driven woodcock shooting.
The successful candidate would be able to demonstrate excellent practical skills and be good at working in a growing team within a forward thinking estate. They would report to the Head Keeper, working alongside two Under Keepers.
They would have good experience of grouse management and stalking.
Excellent package available for this permanent full time position, including comfortable 3 bedroom cottage, moving expenses and vehicle provided. Driving Licence, Shotgun, Firearms certificates required. Good kennels for own dogs.
