Senior Pheasant and Partridge Gamekeeper - Ref 1667 Date: January 12, 2026

A passionate, energetic and experienced gamekeeper is required to lead the pheasant and partridge shooting on the Swinton Estate. Working for one of the sporting tenants on the estate, Segar Services Limited across approximately 6,000 acres of land operating about varied 20 drives in outstanding terrain and scenery. The individual will be responsible for the pheasant and partridge shooting assisted by a beat keeper and this role will ultimately report to the headkeeper.

This is a long-established shoot which is run in conjunction with the adjacent grouse moor. The intention is to shoot about two days a week throughout the season. Much of the infrastructure is in place although there is a clear opportunity to progress and develop the shoot further utilizing the mix of woodland, game crops and natural cover to present birds as well as trying new ideas. Birds are sourced as poults. There are a mix of days between those enjoyed by the principals and their friends and let days.

There is a four-bedroom detached property with kennels and storage buildings available along with a pick-up and ATV. Full clean driving licence, shotgun and firearms certificate and working dogs required. Attractive and competitive package available for the right candidate.
