Seasonal Delivery Driver

We are looking for a reliable seasonal delivery driver to join our team from April to September, delivering chicks and poults to customers across the UK. Experience is not necessarily needed as long as you have a willingness to learn and follow instructions, training will be provided.The role may suit a retired person or someone looking for temporary part time work.
Main duties include:•Delivering day-old chicks and poults to customers• Driving long and short delivery routes across the UK• Completing delivery paperwork and returning it to the office• Communicating with customers regarding delivery times or delays• Reporting any issues with birds or vehicles promptly• Monitoring temperature & ventilation during delivery
Delivery periods:• Chick deliveries: Monday or Tuesday (April - July)• Poult deliveries: June - September
Requirements:• Full clean driving licence (ideally 25+ for insurance purposes)• Able to drive for full days (up to 10 hours)• Must hold or be willing to obtain a Certificate of Competence for transporting game birds• Flexible and adaptable with working hours during the season (early mornings / late nights)• Own transportation to get to/from work due to our rural location
