RESIDENT COUPLE: HOUSEKEEPER & NANNY (FULL TIME) AND HANDYMAN (PART TIME)

Housekeeper/ Nanny and Handyman on a 2000 acre family-run hill farm and sporting estate in South Ayrshire.

We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and professional couple to take on the roles of housekeeper/nanny and part-time handyman. The successful applicants would principally be responsible for managing the house and garden and general property maintenance around the estate.

The individuals will be required to work on their own and work well within a team.

Full driver’s licences are essential as the nearest town in 10 miles away

A recently renovated three-bedroom cottage with free council tax is available.

Job description: Housekeeper & Nanny

We are looking for an individual who can take on the dual role of housekeeper and nanny to our three children aged 7, 4 and 2. We hope to find someone who is proactive, hands on and happy to help where needed with a fun and nurturing personality.

Duties would include -

Cleaning

• General cleaning and keeping the house tidy and organised

Laundry

• All Bedroom and Bathroom linens, Laundry and Ironing

Cooking •

Helping in the kitchen during the shooting season and for the family when required

Childcare

• School and nursery runs, cooking for the children, babysitting

Job description: Part Time Handyman

We’re looking for an all-round hard-working individual with basic understanding of plumbing, painting and decorating, fencing and a good practical understanding of property upkeep.,

General maintenance of estate property

There will be a requirement to undertake some regular checks and maintenance on properties where possible including but not limited to:

• Garden maintenance

• Checking roofs

• Clearing gutters and downpipes

• External painting

Wider estate jobs

• Check fencing and maintain where required

• Clearing ditches

Tools, Equipment and Vehicles

• Keep all tools, equipment, and vehicles in a clean and tidy condition
