PEST CONTROL TECHNICIAN - Ref 1593 Date: August 30, 2025

Technicians are expected to carry out all duties associated with the role of a Mobile Pest Control Technician. Once trained, Technicians will be expected to drive to our customers premises, in a van provided by Assured Environmental Services, to carry out their duties. Please be aware the job can be quite physical at times. Some duties include, but are not limited to:

• The identification, control and management of pests using a variety of methods. This includes removing found carcasses from sites.
• Routine treatment preparation work and adherence to COSHH regulations.
• Routine maintenance and cleaning work on tools and equipment to a safe standard.
• Proofing works to Customer premises.
• Providing high quality Customer service.
• The Safe Use of Pesticides and correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Comprehensive record keeping where required i.e., Job Sheets, Treatment Report Sheets, Time Sheets etc. Most of which are to be updated on a tablet/phone (supplied by Assured Environmental Services).
• Attending and completing CPD courses throughout the year to work towards BASIS points.

• Ideally used to working outdoors or in agriculture.
• Experience not required, as full training would be given. (RSPH L2)
• Must be able to work alone & as part of a team, using their own initiative.
• Must be personable.
• Valid driving license essential.
• Company van provided.
• Working areas include industrial, commercial, domestic and agricultural premises.
• Ideally to live within approximately a 20-mile radius of the Gisburn unit.
• IT skills for mobile/tablet use/online portal use.
• Good remuneration.
• Private Health Care cover provided.
• Monthly bonus scheme - After 6 months service.
