MULTI-SKILLED, ADAPTABLE FARM/ESTATE WORKER

We are looking for a highly energetic, motivated person to join our team on a busy family owned rural estate in North Northumberland.

This is a dual role, part of which will be working alongside the “hands on” farm manager. A passion for farming and machinery maintenance is essential. This includes the ability to operate and service farm & estate machinery (tractors, trailers, forklifts, field implements, mowers & small plant)

The second part of the role involves general property maintenance for residential dwellings, holiday lets & farm buildings. This requires a good understanding of basic building principles & skills and an ability to carry out elementary carpentry, plumbing, decorating and general DIY tasks. Also, an enthusiastic approach to the upkeep of roads, tracks, river banks, gardens, roofs, gutters and drains.

Although it is ideal that applicants show skills in both areas, we would also consider someone who has outstanding skill in one of the roles described above.

A full driving licence is required
