Ian Coley Sporting Ltd, located near Andoversford, Cheltenham; is one of the country’s leading gun shops, shooting schools and country clothing retailers in the UK. We are looking to recruit a Groundsperson to join our team. This is an exciting time to be joining our expanding business and be part of an industry leading Shooting School. The ideal candidate must be enthusiastic, hard-working, self-motivated and a team player who can start as soon as possible. They must have groundskeeping experience. An interest in clay shooting is desirable, not essential. We operate a 5-day working week which includes Saturdays and applicants should have access to transport as we are based in a rural location. Duties will include: • Mowing and strimming of grass areas and banks • Keeping the ground in good order, litter free and tidy • Emptying litter and cartridge bins. • Checking and filling traps with clays and checking trap batteries • Trap maintenance • Fencing and painting • Assist on occasion with outside events and corporate days • ‘Caddying’ for customers occasionally and by arrangement • Assist in other departments as business needs require Competitive Salary Company benefits include private health, pension and various offers through different companies associated with the business.
