BROCKLESBY ESTATE – GROUNDSPERSON

A full-time experienced Groundsperson is sought for the Brocklesby Estate.

The main purpose of the role is the day to day maintenance of the extensive grounds, including:

· Maintenance of extensive lawns including fine lawns

· Walk-behind and ride-on cylinder mowing

· Walk-behind rotary mowing

· Scarification and feeding

· Ride-on and amenity grass cutting

· Upkeep of verges

· Strimming and seasonal long grass cutting

· Blowing, leaf collecting, tractor driving

· Spraying

· Occasional weeding/gardening tasks

· Maintenance of a full range of garden equipment

· Meadow maintenance and management

The candidate must have a genuine interest in maintaining the grounds to a high standard, showing attention to detail, and being tidy and organised.

Reliable, and committed, you will possess a professional and approachable manner, and have a flexible ‘can-do’ attitude.

Physical stamina required to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Reward Package

· Salary up to £30K dependent on experience

· Permanent full time with occasional paid overtime

· Pension scheme

· 28 days holiday per year (including bank holidays)
