GENERAL FARMWORKER
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, enthusiastic individual with a genuine passion for farming and rural living.
There are around 80 breeding cattle and 100 sheep, spring calving and lambing
Experience working with sheep and cattle.
Full time permanent position.
We offer a competitive salary and pension, with a good cottage and a vehicle for work duties.
The nearest town is 30 minutes away, with good schools and doctors locally.
Full UK driving licence.
Responsibilities include :
Daily feeding and care of cattle and sheep
Preparing stock for market and arranging transport
General Farm maintenance
The ability to operate farm machinery and ATVs safely
Seasonal tasks as required, silage mowing, baling and wrapping, topping, rolling, spraying, spreading fertiliser etc.
Keeping all equipment in good working order, and clean and tidy.
Management of the pastures.
