Overview

We are family-run private Perthshire estate with active farming and rural enterprises in livestock farming, sporting, forestry, holiday letting and long term house letting. Present full-time staffing is five. We are seeking an additional full-time role to assist with day to day running.

General job description

This is a varied outdoor role combining gardening, property maintenance and seasonal farm and estate work

Maintenance of main house and garden

• veg & flower garden• lawn & grounds maintenance• machinery & equipment care• seasonal garden tasks

Estate/Farm duties during quieter periods

• winter cattle feeding and handling• tractor & machinery operation• fencing & estate maintenance• firewood preparation

Ideal candidate

• practical, reliable & self-motivated• enjoy rural outdoor work• gardening experience• livestock & machinery experience • comfortable working with small team• able to work independently and to use initiative• full UK driving licence essential

Accommodation

• attractive 3-bedroom cottage, oil central heating and wood burning stove, garden & outbuildings. Firewood supplied. Rent-free, with Council Tax paid
