Pitlochry Estate Trust is a traditional highland estate extending to approximately 7,500 acres of agricultural land, forestry and moor together with an extensive portfolio of residential and commercial properties.

Job description

We are looking for a general Estate worker to join the Estate Team. The job will include:

· Building maintenance and fencing

· Forestry works, firewood and wood chip production

· Drainage maintenance and management

· Agricultural duties

· Other duties as required around the Estate

Key requirements

We are looking for someone with practical experience of working in the rural sector and in a similar role or estate environment.

The ideal candidate will have good communication skills and will be able to work well alone and as part of a small team.

A full, clean UK Driving license is essential and relevant training / certificates are preferrable.

Candidates must be able to uphold a safe working environment and culture by complying with health and safety, and other compliance requirements in the estate areas including use of personal protective equipment, tools, machinery, chemicals and safe working practices to protect health, safety and welfare of all team members, and the public.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, no fixed hours are stipulated but you will be expected to work such hours as are necessary.
