Rothiemurchus Estate is a family owned and managed farming, forestry, property business and the principle destination for visitors to the Cairngorms National Park.

The care of Rothiemurchus depends on welcoming visitors to Rothiemurchus and the Cairngorms National Park, enabling them to enjoy Rothiemurchus in ways which contribute to its care.

Your role is a key part in delivering these aims.

Job description:

In your role in the two-person property maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the overall integrity and appearance of our residential properties, commercial properties and farm. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday with occasional weekend callouts.

We’re looking for an all-round hard-working passionate individual who:

· Displays carpentry skills, a basic understanding of plumbing, painting and decorating, fencing and a good practical understanding of property upkeep.

· Excellent verbal communication skills.

· Works well alone and as part of a team.

· Has a strong work ethic and be able to adapt to changing weather conditions.

· Demonstrates excellent timekeeping, flexibility and attention to detail.

· Uses initiative and carry out tasks unsupervised.

· Takes pride in their work.

· Holds a full driving license.

· Chainsaw, spraying and other relevant qualifications will strengthen the application.
