Caretaker/Gardener - Ref 1617 Date: October 8, 2025

We have an opportunity for an energetic and trustworthy person to manage and maintain the house and large woodland garden on a rural estate in Renfrewshire, under 20 miles from Glasgow.

• Full time (40hrs/week)• Detached, recently refurbished 3-bed cottage in rural location but close to village amenities• Competitive salary depending on experience

The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining the grounds and gardens, including woodland. Duties to include all aspects of gardening and simple forestry/chain saw work as well as maintenance of equipment, security, basic property maintenance and liaising with contractors and other 3rd parties to carry out more significant work.

The candidate will be fit, resourceful, motivated and independent, and ideally have a working knowledge of large gardens and machinery. Further training can be provided for the right candidate. A driving licence is essential.

For interested couples, there may also be the opportunity for 15 hours a week of housekeeping duties.

We have a strong preference for those looking for a long-term role and excited to become a core working member of the estate.
