Job Vacancy: Agricultural Operator at Dawson Farms

Dawson Farms is a large arable farm and grain storage business with additional contract

farming commitments in North Yorkshire. We are seeking to fill the following vacancy,

as a current team member is leaving to take on a new role away from agriculture. We

are looking for a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an

Agricultural Operator.

The operator needs to be able to hit the ground running, therefore please only apply if you have the

relevant experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Combine driver

• Self-propelled sprayer operator

• Opportunity to cover fertiliser operations and primary cultivations

• General farm tasks and involvement in various aspects of the business

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience operating agricultural equipment in an arable setting

• Enthusiasm for the role and an aptitude for working both independently and as part of a team

• Experience in leading a harvest team (including harvest staff who may require guidance)

• Conscientious approach to work, attention to detail and high standards

• PA1, PA2, PA4 and telehandler certificates are advantageous
