Wiltshire/Dorset border.

We are recruiting:

Gardens Manager

Rushmore is a large privately owned rural estate encompassing many different facets. We are looking for an experienced gardener to oversee the day-to-day maintenance, presentation and upkeep of the Larmer Tree Gardens and the gardens at King John’s House. Working daily with a small team onsite and more broadly with the wider estate team to maintain and enhance the grounds.

You will have a horticultural background and an ability to manage both your own time as well as a small team with the overall presentation, health, and wellbeing of the gardens in mind. You will have outstanding attention to detail and a work ethic that ensures results are delivered daily. An ability to see the bigger picture and work in conjunction with the senior management team on the estate, delivering weddings, holiday lets, and leisure visits is essential.

You should live within a commutable distance from Tollard Royal on the Wiltshire/Dorset border. Hours will vary seasonally and will include weekends. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Uniform, training, professional development along with many other benefits are included within the package.

Gardener/Handyman

As part of the estate maintenance team, you will spend your time based between the Larmer Tree Gardens and King John’s House carrying out the daily tasks necessary for the upkeep of the gardens, but also turning your hand to simple maintenance tasks associated with buildings being used on a regular basis by the public and private events.

You will have a practical, can-do attitude and be flexible in your approach to the role. Hours will vary throughout the seasons and some weekend work will be necessary. Salary dependant on experience.

Uniform, training, professional development along with many other benefits are included within the package.

Greenkeeper

As part of the specialised team looking after the day-to-day operation of the Golf Course on the estate, and on occasion the wider estate also. You will be experienced in the role and familiar with the workings of the various machines and methods used in presenting all areas of the course.

You will be a team player focused and driven to present the course and surroundings to the highest possible standards. Hours do vary through the seasons and include occasional weekend work.

Uniform, training, professional development along with many other benefits are included within the package.

Clubhouse Supervisor

An experienced, outgoing hospitality professional to help deliver a first-class customer experience for our members, guests, and visitors at our busy Golf Club. If you love looking after people in a social environment, but do not want the late nights, split shifts, and long hours then this could well be the role for you.

Working alongside the Clubhouse Manager you will be responsible for the ongoing high level of service daily. An informal club with a fun, can-do attitude to looking after people without the stuffiness associated with Golf Clubs means the right person will thrive. Lively, outgoing but with a great work ethic and a genuine passion to deliver great service.

Hours do vary throughout the seasons but generally very different from the normal hospitality sector. Weekend work will be necessary.

Salary negotiable dependant on experience and what you can bring to the team overall.

Uniform, training, professional development along with many other benefits are included within the package.
