An exciting opportunity has arisen working as an underkeeper on a well-established partridge and pheasant shoot in West Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. The successful applicant will be motivated, conscientious and capable of working to a very high standard supporting the head keeper in all matters relating to the shoot which runs approximately 20 days per season for a private syndicate.
Candidates must hold a full driving licence, along with a shotgun and firearms certificates and have relevant experience and training in terms of bird rearing and release, woodland and deer management, pest control, assisting in the smooth running of shoot days and general equipment maintenance. Good communication skills and a willingness to learn are essential.
The position comes with a competitive package, ongoing training, and accommodation with kennels, and it is anticipated that the applicant will be in post during May 2025.
