Role Information

We want to recruit a highly motivated individual with significant experience in, and passion for, shooting and conservation to lead our team in the South-East of England.

The post holder will work at both strategic and operational levels, implementing work programs to deliver the associations strategic objectives.

Leading and motivating a small team, you will direct the associations activity in the region to generate the best outcomes for our members. You will be the focal point for regional press and media activity as well as supporting the associations political engagement program in the region.

You will be able to direct and lead at a regional level whilst maintaining ability to work with contemporaries to deliver a coordinated national approach to member services, projects and campaigns. That includes taking a regional lead on key-issues to develop the associations technical and operational approach.

You will be solution oriented with an ability to resolve problems as they arise, including a proven record of influencing and negotiating with stakeholder organisations. You should be a confident communicator, able to translate complex technical issues to a range of audiences and through a range of media.

You will be the associations ambassador in South-East England and will be key in ensuring BASC maintains its status as a trusted and respected organisation in the region and nationally.
