Head of conservation and game keeping with additional farming duties Red House Farm Located near Doncaster we are predominately a farming business with a keen interest on diversification, conservation, shooting and community engagement. We are looking for an experienced gamekeeper with the ability to complete farming tasks. There is the opportunity for work for both an individual or couple. It would be a brand-new position created for a long-term vision as part of our growing business. The main post is based at Red House Farm, High Melton, Doncaster, DN5 7SU. Good salary, pension and vehicle for business use and we can assist with accommodation if required. Areas of Responsibility and Experience - Experience in conservation and wildlife and expertise and interest in a wild bird shoot. - Responsible for the Animal husbandry and management of Livestock (sheep) - Ability to complete tractor work with the arable team - Country side stewardship including hedge planting and tree work. - Building maintenance - All vermin and pest control using update control methods - Responsible for vermin on all growing crops all year round - Pest Control in the farm buildings and able to assist with farm audit on this topic. - Other relief farm work as and when required - land and property maintenance in down time periods Essential tool - Must have fire arms and shotgun certificate and field experience Ideal but not essential - Pa 4 - quad sprayer - Chainsaw certification - Rat Bait certification This is a great opportunity for a likeminded and forward-thinking person who is keen to progress with a long-term business vision.
