Head Gamekeepers Position - Ref 1390 Date: January 9, 2025

An excellent opportunity has become available for an ambitious, self-motivated gamekeeper on a private, family owned Estate in the Scottish Highlands. Coul Estate is located in Laggan near Newtonmore and over the years has created some top quality Pheasant, Partridge and duck drives. The Estate also provides stalking for Red, Fallow and Sika deer. At over 9000 acres it is a wonderful Highland Estate run primarily for family and friends but also offering a limited number of days commercially. The successful applicant should be highly motivated and able to work as part of a team but also independently and have a minimum of five years’ experience in driven game and deer stalking. They must also be willing to work on other activities on the Estate when required. Applicants must as a minimum have the following: Full UK Driving Licence Valid Shotgun & Firearms Licence Holder of DSC Level 1 The following would be advantageous: ATV Sit Astride & Sit In Certificates Chainsaw Certificate The position comes with a three bedroom house, which has been fully refurbished to the highest standard, along with outbuildings and kennels. A more than competitive salary will be offered, based on experience.
