GROUSE BEAT KEEPER, DANBY ESTATE, NORTH YORK MOORS
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate individual to join an established and motivated team, comprising of Head Keeper and two Beat Keepers, who will be honest, hard- working and with excellent attention to detail.
Danby is a consistent and highly regarded Estate covering approximately 10,500 acres of heather moorland. The successful applicant will be responsible for their own beat and will report to the Head Keeper and should have the relevant experience of best practice habitat management and predator control. Current shotgun and firearms certificates as well as a full UK driving licence are essential.
This position will provide an exciting opportunity to further a career in this profession on a well-known North York Moors estate. We are offering a competitive remuneration package, including excellent accommodation for the right candidate.
The expected start date for this role is February 2024.
