Barrisdale Estate, a beautiful remote family-run estate on the West Coast of Scotland, is seeking a motivated, self-reliant, versatile and fit couple to join the team on a full-time basis.
Barrisdale is a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and extremely remote with access by private boat, 4.5 miles down Loch Hourn from Kinloch Hourn ( 23 miles down a single track road). The ghillie / estate worker will be working with the head stalker / estate manager to assist with deer extraction and other land management activities, boat runs, path work, property maintenance, grass cutting/gardening, machinery upkeep, and a variety of other jobs that need to be carried out throughout the year.
The housekeeper will help develop the rental business, organise the online bookings, manage and clean the rental properties, act as housekeeper for the lodge to include cleaning, laundry and ensuring sufficient food stocks are maintained and could, optionally, also cook.
Accommodation is provided in a newly appointed flat which sits in the heart of the Estate. A competitive remuneration package will be agreed.
