Job Title: General Estate Worker nr Leyburn North Yorkshire

Job Description:

We are looking for an all-round hard-working passionate individual who is keen to join our growing team which delivers projects at pace and with vision.

Duties

Forestry – Tree planting, fitting tree guards, hand weeding, spraying, beating up, strimming, chainsaw operations - thinning/felling work, basic silviculture, hedge laying, fencing, grey squirrel control.

Farm – Perform general farm tasks, basic land cultivations, fence maintenance, Sheep work, conservation projects, repair and maintain farm equipment.

Personnel attributes required.

The ability to use your initiative.

To be thorough and pay attention to detail.

Excellent verbal communication skills.

The ability to work well with your hands.

The ability to take instructions.

Work well alone or as part of a team.

Work outdoors in all weathers.

Experience

Previous experience in the farming and forestry sector is preferred but not required.

This position requires an individual who is hardworking, reliable, and has a passion for forestry, farming, and the environment. The successful candidate

will be able to work independently as well as part of a team. They should also have a strong work ethic and be able to adapt to changing weather conditions.

Salary: Competitive.

Expected hours: 40 hrs per week.
