Gualin Estate –Nr Durness, Sutherland. 30th June – 4th October 2025
Full time seasonal ghillie position (Mon to Saturday) on a renowned fishing estate in the Highlands. Gualin is situated 10 miles from the town of Durness and is Highland estate with a focus on fishing.
The River Dionard is best known for reliable catches and excellent sea trout fishing on Loch Dionard. Located in stunning Highland scenery close to the sea, the river has a dramatic mountainous backdrop and remote setting.
A competitive salary package offered with onsite accommodation and food provided. The successful candidate should have a can do, friendly attitude and proactive approach towards wildlife and habitat management and maintenance along with a good knowledge of wild fisheries.
Throughout the season the candidate can expect to assist the Estate Manager with some general estate management duties. Excellent customer service skills, etiquettes, can-do attitudand a full driving licence are essential.
