An exciting opportunity for a full time estate maintenance role at the Aigas estate based 10 minutes from Beauly in the Highlands of Scotland.
We are looking to build a long-term working relationship with a hard-working individual who would be dedicated to the general up keep and development of estate assets.
The successful applicant must have a strong forestry background along with chainsaw tickets, the role will also include other daily handyman jobs i.e. Upkeep of estate houses/buildings (drainage, painting, joinery), basic landscaping, it would also be an advantage for the successful applicant to have one or more of the following skills: digger driving, plumbing, joinery, basic road/wall maintenance. A full, clean driving licence is required.
A ‘can do’ attitude and loyalty to this family run estate is vital as the team all muck in.
Based at the Aigas Estate is Aigas Field Centre a family run seasonal ecotourism business, along with this based at Aigas is Naturedays a charity which provides environmental education for school children in the Highlands all year round. Aigas is also part of various conservation projects.
