An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Underkeeper to assist the Head Keeper on a private estate with mixed family shoot in SW Scotland, 10 miles from Dumfries. to commence February 2024
The successful candidate must be passionate about game and wildlife management, hard-working with a keen eye for detail and a willingness to learn under the Head Keeper on all aspects of game keeping but also be able work alone using own initiative.
Must hold a clean full UK driving license, shotgun certificate and firearms certificate; Sit-Astride and Sit-In ATV certificates would be advantageous.
The position comes with a competitive remuneration package including a 2 bedroom cottage and kennels.
