ESTATE FORMAN IN OXFORD/BERKS/WILTS BORDER

Live out position

Looking for an Estate foreman to join the team at a beautiful 300 acre country estate on the Oxon/Berks/Wilts country border. The role will be diverse and will involve working outdoors in all weathers helping with a variety of tasks to support the estate.

Duties to include but not limited to:

1. Tree, grass & woodland management
2. Garden & estate maintenance (mowing/strimming/hedge cutting/topping/wood clearance) working alongside Gardener
3. Labouring tasks
4. Landscaping projects
5. Tractor and trailer duties inc forklift
6. General handyman tasks and carrying out ad-hoc tasks as required.
7. Opportunity to also carry out any gamekeeping skills

It is desirable to have chainsaw tickets and certification for tasks such as spraying/pest control would be advantageous. You must have good practical skills with a “can do” attitude, work well as part of a team and independently, competent with machinery and be physically fit. There will be scope for additional training and development to support you in your role.

Must have a full clean driving licence and be able to provide references.

Remuneration to be discussed and dependent on experience. Use of Estate 4x4 car

Working week Monday – Friday Hours 0800 – 17.00

This is a permanent role to start June 2023.
