Couple required - Ref 1056

Our client is looking for a Couple to take on a role of looking after a House and Gardens in a quiet rural conservation village. This will be a full-time role for the Gardener/handyman and less than part-time role for the Housekeeper (6 hours per week for the Housekeeper). The property has 6 bedrooms and has around 1.5 acres of mature gardens which include lawns, borders and hedges. Household of 2 adults and visiting adult children.

This is the client’s main residence and they travel frequently so the candidate would be needed for dog sitting.

Duties will include:

Security.

Hands on Gardening (candidate should have some experience), and including strimming, ride on mower, hedge trimming/pruning and leaf blowing and collecting.

Driving (mostly airport collection) therefore a clean driving license is necessary.

Running errands such as car servicing and buying fuel for garden equipment

General house maintenance or supervision of contractors

A two bed cottage is available with the role and a small shop with great local school nearby. Walled garden space available to grow own vegetables.
